Life Alarm Medical Alert Services
Life Alarm is the medical alert partner CareBridge Navigator refers families to. The device is a GPS help button worn on the wrist or on a lanyard. Pressing it connects the wearer to a monitoring centre that can send help and call the family.
What does the device include?
- A GPS help button that works away from the house, not only at home
- Automatic fall detection on supported devices
- 24/7 monitoring in the United States
- No equipment cost to the family through this partner offer
Who is a medical alert button right for?
It fits an older adult who lives alone, has fallen before, or is unsteady on their feet. It is also a reasonable middle step when a family is not ready for paid in-home hours. It does not replace supervision for someone with advanced dementia who may not press the button.
How does CareBridge get paid for this?
Life Alarm is a paid partner, and that is stated plainly here. CareBridge Navigator takes no referral fees for care placement, and the assessment results are never shaped by a partner.
